### Lithuanian Constitution exam (for a permanent residence permit and citizenship)
The exam on the basics of the Constitution of the Republic of Lithuania (Lietuvos Respublikos Konstitucijos pagrindų egzaminas) is required both for a permanent residence permit AND for Lithuanian citizenship. It is a computer-based test of 20 multiple-choice questions in Lithuanian (no dictionary allowed); you need at least 14 correct to pass, the fee is €21, and the result is shown immediately. Registration is through the MIGRIS system (migracija.lt), no later than 15 days before the exam. It can be taken in any order relative to the state (Lithuanian) A2 language exam — the former "language first" requirement has been abolished. The Constitution was adopted by referendum on 25 October 1992, entered into force on 2 November 1992, and has 154 articles.
